My beliefsI believe that the universe is the creation of an intelligent, loving God. [more]I believe that the Bible is God's Word; that God is the divine author of the Bible, and that it is inerrant. [more] I believe that people have free will. [more] I believe in good and evil. [more] I believe that, because people have free will, and because they/we have chosen to depart from the Will of God, that we are thus fallen creatures. [more] I believe that there is more than the physical universe; that there is another realm, the heavenly realm, from which God dwells. I believe that fallen creatures are not suitable to dwell with God in the heavenly realm. I believe that the human form of Jesus was a projection of God Himself, created by God in the womb of Mary. I believe that Jesus' death was presented as an olive branch to mankind; an offer of forgiveness; a sacrifice symbolic of the method of forgiveness in the Old Testament. I believe that a person's acceptance of this offer of forgiveness frees them from their fallen status with God, making them acceptible to dwell with God in the heavily realm. I believe that the human spirit is an eternal being. I believe that, after death, the human spirit enters the heavenly realm. I believe that after death, each person will face the judgement of God, and that only a human spirit redeemed by the forgiveness offered through Jesus will spend eternity with God in heaven, the converse of which is hell. I believe that God intends mankind to understand and interact with Him from three important viewpoints/aspects: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit, which is God's extra-physical manifestation within the world and within people.
