Beliefs : Good and EvilGood and evil are easy concepts on the surface, but they are difficult ones if you dig a little deeper.The whole conversation of black and white versus shades of gray is an important one, and states in a round about way the observation that optimization is often not a matter of linearity because typically there is more than one thing to optimize in life. Decisions often involve tradeoffs. So who is the ultimate judge of right and wrong? I believe that is the role of God. So while each of us has a somewhat varying sense of right and wrong, dependant on family, culture, and personality, I believe it is our responsible as creatures of God-given free will to seek out God's will if it's not already self evident.
