Hunger and physical activity

Being a lean guy with a sensitivity to low blood sugar, there have been countless times when I've gotten that sort of sick low blood sugar feeling. Your energy gets sapped, you can't think, you want to lay down, and sometimes there's a mild headache associated with it.

Something I've noticed though, is that if you do exactly the opposite thing, that is, perform some light to moderate physical labour, the feeling starts to subside.

Here's a little theory: Perhaps the energy stores in the muscles begin to activate and populate the blood with blood sugars when physical activity is performed, thereby correcting the low blood sugar state, whereas if you simply relax and continue to perform mental tasks, you're just burning up even more of the little blood sugar you have left.

Just a thought.
