Every weekday morning, our radio alarm clock goes off, and even though it's a local radio station, there's occassionally a noticeable amount of static. What I find really strange is that if you lift up your arm or sit up in bed, the static goes away. Why is that? When we Left Earth

They just keep coming out with fantastic documentaries about the space program! It's been a great year! This one is sort of like the "Planet Earth" of space documentaries, chronicalling the entire pre-ISS history of US space program. It's going to take some self control to keep from running out and buying this one!
Too bad we don't have a Blu-ray player yet, but they're still too pricey, so I'll have to settle for the DVD version.

I read this interesting quote on a friend's Facebook today: There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action and because there is only one of you in all of time this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable, nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.I think this is a great idea stated very well. older >>
