This week I went to a young adults event that was being hosted at a house that someone was house sitting at, and as I stood in the hallway, I sensed this strange feeling of "I've been here before". It ended up being the house of my landlord when I lived with 7 other guys at 78 Cardill. We went there one evening exactly 4 years ago to sign all of our rent cheques. Neat :)

One of the really nice features of iTunes is that when you're purchasing music, you can see what people who bought that album also bought. It ends up being a great way to discover new music.
It has been a couple of years since I've probed for new music, and as I was buying Jon Foreman's latest efforts, Fall and Winter, I followed a link to a band called Needtobreathe.
After sampling a few of their songs, I was sold, and bought their album The Heat. My favorite so far is Signature of Divine:

Before I can start recording music, I need to buy an analog-to-digital box for a couple hundred dollars. This is something I've wanted to buy for about five years now, and I think it's time I got one. I'd also love to learn a little bit about music editing software -- how to bring two lines of recorded music more in line with one another, etc.
